Default Just got this back

Here is a pic of my mallard pintail cross. The guy did an excellent job. He is workong on my Speck right now.

Beautiful bird and mount , but I dont think its a mallard / pintail , It looks more like a Brewers duck, AKA mallard/gadwall (check out the white in the speculum) JMO

Nice mount. Could be a brewers. The biologists that checked him out couldn't even tell me what he was crossed with. When I shot him I thought he was a widegon/ mallard cross just from the head. Ooh well he still looks good on the wall.

You have a realy nice mount there. Taxidermy has come a long way. Don't you think the first pick of my pin/mallard looks like it's trying to take a dump! It's pretty ratty now but my wife has a very high sentimental value for this mount. It's the only one in our house, all mine are at Eric's.

very nice trophy mount! I can only imagine what you thought and said when you retrieved the bird in the field! Congrats!
