Default Sculling

Does anyone on this site Scull ducks or geese. I bought my grandpa's boat and re-did it and the last few years we have killed a pile of ducks out of it! Went out on Sunday and killed 10 out of it. The mississippi is finally high enough that we can accually use it to scull ducks. Its loads of fun. I'm going to go out after school tonight by myself and try to kill some woodies and mallards! Blueman
P.S. Anybody know any secretes to it!

Wack'em and Stack'em!

Never done it but bring your boat out to NE in the spring and shoot 100's of snows by drifting into the masses. You just have to watch where the dark geese and ducks are in the group youu drift into.

Fill up the freezer and save the tundra. I was going to use my cousin's low profile kayak but just have not done it yet. I decoy them, cow them, sneak them, pass shoot them, maybe skull them too?

Good Luck

Jon

They are dumb as a post! This is what my Uncle told me when they use to shoot a few on the Mississippi back in the day.

I have sculled for several years now, and i can tell you that i have never failed to be successful. I have never sculled geese, as in northwest Louisiana we do not have very many on the lakes. If the waterfowl are sitting on the water, then they are huntable as long as the waves are not too rough. I use a Seacoast Gunney scull, which is a two-man and very seaworthy. Later.................

The boat is very good at sneaking up on waterfowl. Also, let me clarify by saying that i was not always successful every time i tryed to scull up on ducks, but every trip i was successful. It has nothing to do with Louisiana, because most of the ducks are north of us anyway, but it does have something to do with sculling waterfowl. Later................
