The National Weather Service maintains accurate and up to date snow depth data. Many people use these maps to gauge the "snow lines", which Snow Geese follow on their migration North.

Some Quick Usage Tips:

  •  Top Left Choose "Hourly Snow Depth" to get up to date snow depth on the map.

  •  Change Cursor mode to "Zoom In." in order to zoom in to the correct area you will be hunting.

  •  The Overlays on the left hand side, help find exact areas, with rivers, streams, and counties, being good choices

  •  Change the Units (bottom left corner) from Metric to Inches.
